Weekend Guide to Granbury Texas
Granbury Texas is just a short hour and twenty minute drive from Dallas making it a wonderful place for a weekend getaway! Little did we know before doing our research that Granbury has a lot to offer – delicious restaurants, Revolver Brewery and three different wineries in the area. Also, there’s a wonderful cheese shop and Eighteen Ninety Marketplace in Granbury’s historic downtown that offers wine, spices, olive oil and many other foodie goodies.
Granbury is a gem of a city and we’re looking forward to visiting again soon. Keep reading for our favorite places to stay, eat, drink and shop along with a Granbury Texas weekend itinerary.

- The sandy strip is just a one-minute drive from the town center and features a boardwalk, kids’ water area, concessions stands, and a Tiki Hut with great fish tacos and daiquiris
- Rent a kayak or paddle board
- Drive through the Windmill Farm
- Eagle Mountain Farmhouse Cheese
- Eighteen Ninety Marketplace
- This elegant marketplace on the historic square features spices, wines, and other luxury imported culinary goods. Stop by the marketplace and check out the new imported products from all over Europe
- Bravos Drive-In Theater
- Shop: there’s so many cute little boutiques in the historic square such as Hope Boutique

- Drive into Granbury and check into The Inn on Lake Granbury
- Relax & get settled
- Head to dinner at Eighteen Ninety Grille

- Sleep in!
- Breakfast at the inn
- Explore historic downtown Granbury
- Lunch at Pearl Street Station
- Head to Revolver Brewery & take the tour
- Explore the local wineries
- Barking Rocks Wine (open 12-5)
- Pemberton Cellars (open 12-7)
- Bluff Dale Vineyards (open 11-6)
- Dinner at Farina’s Winery for baked lasagna (the best!), pizza and meatballs (they also have a great wine selection)
