DIY 5 Minute Banana Split!

Summer is right around the corner and that means a lot more ice cream is in our near future. Also, we love getting creative with ice cream and one of our favorite ice cream recipes is whipping up a quick and delicious banana split. What’s our tip to making it in under five minutes?! So, go with an ice cream that already has tasty toppings mixed in.

A go-to ice cream brand for this is Moose Tracks Ice Cream and you can use this handy store locator link here to find out where they’re sold near you. Also, we pick ours up from Target or Kroger so you’re bound to have a location that offers Moose Tracks Ice Cream near by. Now, let’s talk about our favorite flavors and get onto the banana split action!

DIY 5 Minute Tasty Banana Split!

{Step 1}

First, select your favorite ice cream. We went with ‘Extreme Maximum Fudge’ for the chocolate lovers in our home AND ‘Vanilla with Peanut Butter Cups and Moose Tracks Fudge’. Yum! Also, we all thought the chocolate would be our favorite out of the two but to our surprise we ended up loving the vanilla with all of the tasty additions the most. It was bursting with flavor and texture!

Second, pop into your pantry or cabinet and see what you have already on hand. Then, we grabbed some walnuts, chocolate chips that we melted down into a sauce, coconut shreds and sprinkles. Easy!

Lastly, cut bananas in half lengthwise and scoop in two to three scoops of ice cream. Next, layer on your favorite toppings and there you have it! Your very own delicious banana split in under five minutes!
